On October 24, the full moon will rise just after sunset, creating potential for the moon to glow as it rises in the east with sunset still visible in the western sky. Grab your cameras and tripods and join photography instructor Andrew Lederman and Wildlands Trust as we try to capture this special fall event. We'll watch the moon rise over the water at Ellisville Harbor, then explore other night photography tips and tricks with the full moon to light our way. Meet at Ellisville Harbor State Park at 5:00 pm. We'll take just a few cars over to Shifting Lots Preserve for moonrise, eventually working our way back to the state park. What to Bring: Camera Charged battery (and extra battery if you have one) Memory card (make sure its not full) Any lenses you have (if you have a lot then just a wide angle and a telephoto will be fine.
