  • What is the best way to get to nantucket?

The easiest way to get to the island is by hopping aboard the ferry, just steps from our hotel. Check out the ferry schedules to plan your trip. For a unique way to travel, Cape Air offers flights from Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis to Nantucket Memorial Airport. You can also drive in across the bridge, but traffic does get congested, especially during the summer season, and parking on the island is limited.
  • What Types of Transportation Are On the island?

You will find several car and moped rental agencies on the island. Parking is available at a few metered spaces downtown and you'll find seasonal public parking in the Candle Street lot. Because parking can be challenging, you may wish to rent a bike instead. The island is very bike accessible and offers miles of paved pathways that are fun and easy to ride.
