Sail Around Cape Cod on Hyannis Whale Watching Tours

Catch glimpses of Humpback, Finback, and Minke whales, bottlenose dolphins, great white sharks, and marine birds from the deck of a jet-powered ocean vessel and relax with food and drinks in the climate-controlled cabin. Experience an unforgettable wildlife experience in one of the world's top 10 whale watching destinations.

  • can whale sightings be guaranteed?

If you visit during high season (April-October), you can be confident that the whales, dolphins and ocean animals will be on display. However, if you don't see a whale, Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises will offer rain checks to all passengers (at captain's discretion). The company does not offer cash refunds but the rain check passes never expire and can be used anytime based upon availability; reservations required.
  • how long is the trip and what should I bring?

Whale watching trips generally last from 3.5 to 4 hours. Tour length depends upon the location of whales, and the captain may extend the tour to maximize your whale watching experience. Be sure to dress warmly in windproof layers, wear comfortable sneakers or walking shoes and sunglasses. Be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, water, a hat, and your camera. Motion sickness medication and/or sea bands are a good idea for rough sail days.
